ok, so I just got transfered to a Walgreens in Yucca Valley. This means my schedule is....different. I have to get up earlier, work longer shifts and drive further away from my house. In addition my wife just got a new job, managing a health spa. Her schedule has changed as well. We now both have most eavenings off together, (thats when I used to be on line) and our days off now conflict, (meaning I REALLY can't be on line when she is home) so instead of me being on line just about every night except Thursdays, I have to jump on here and there with no real pattern. This will effect the regularity with my postings. No way around it. I'll do the best I can. I'm hoping to figure out a groove or pattern once my new boss stops giving me wacked out schedules such as the following:

Sun: 11-8:30pm
Mon: 12-9:30pm
Tues: 1:30-11:00pm
Wed: 6:45-4:15pm
Thur: Off
Frid: 10-7:30pm
Sat: Off

As apposed to my previous predictable schedule at my other store;

Sun: 7-3:30
Mon: 2-11pm
Tues: Off
Wed: 3-11pm
Thur: Off
Frid: 2-11pm
Sat: 2-11pm

So other then the change in the milage, is this an improvement? You had mentioned before that you and the lady you worked with at the other location didn't get along, is this guy any better?

He seems ok. Strict, but thats not a prob. with me. I just have to figure out if he's willing to stabilize my Schedule.

No benifits. My Distrect Manager is a Carpet munching, ball busting Texas Bitch who likes to move the managers around for no reason.

I'm still trying to get in with CVS. They don't seem to have it together yet. They just moved out here and took over sav-on drugs so there are a lot of adjusting going on. They pay a good $5 bucks more an hour though so it is tempting. My sister is on the waiting list for an asistant Manager position and they are going to hire her at $24.50 an hour!

CVS? You know Walgreens is almost doing you like Frazee did me. That ain't cool. Just let me know if someone does you like that guy did me. I can come out there for a trip and burn off some steam. no problem and skip town after.

CVS is Walgreens' biggest competitors. They are cropping up all over the desert. With Walgreens its nothing personal, the DM is just plain unreasonable. No one likes her and we have store managers trying to oust her from the company.
