Hey guys the GM is at th hospital with Wendy. The induction did not work so today she went in a 3:00 for a c-section. The baby was born very bautiful an very Healthy. Wendy is good other than miserable from coming down off of meds and a surgery. Ashley Nicole G. was born sometime around 3:00PM October 29, 2008 9.5 lbs 20 inches long. You are definitely going to want pictures or something becuase she is one of the most adorable babies we here have ever seen. Wendy and the baby come home Friday sometime and Rhett was going to be given a break every so often between now and then with the help of our Mother in law and Sister in law. He hopes to be able to check in with all of you guys sooner than Friday, I am trying to say, but bear with him HE's A DADDY NOW!!!!!!!! I am babbling cause I am soooooooooo excited for them.

By the way for those of you who might not have children, 9.5 lbs. is like Wendy had a baby that is already a month old, she's a big adorable little girl.

Well I'm back at home after 5 days in the Hospital. Natural birth turned Induced turned C-Section kept us tied up for a while. I've got a few minutes before burping duties. Thought I'd share a pic. More to come obviously.

Well things are starting to settle into a routine here at home (sort of). Ashley is adjusting to a schedule of sleeping at night and for more then an hour at a time. I'm learning to juggle my time as best I can and my wife is human again both physically and emotionally. All and all our new daughter is....easy compared to some children. Either that or waiting 14 years to have a child has given us both insights that new, young couples lack. Either way we are blessed to have her. She's my joy and I'm loving every minute. ok, most minutes. and now back to our regularly scheduled broadcast. GAME ON!

Ashley is a night sleeper? You are blessed. Actually Benjamin was a night sleeper. I remember having to stay up with Pablo some nights, but not many.Of course back then I was working graveyard.

I have an announcement of a personal nature. Yesterday morning I was notified that I was accepted for a job that I had applied for within my company. In two weeks I will offically be a Quality Assurance Analyst. With this comes a pay raise, I get Sat's and Sun's off, and will be back to working a daytime schedule.
Currently, I'm working Sat-Wed 12am-8am. I don't get holidays off and I feel like I'm either sleeping or getting ready for work.

That's awsome! I used to be a 'Quality Control Inspector'. One of the better jobs I ever had. Different field then your in though. Do you have to move or anything?

The position is literally just down the hall from where I am right now. So the commute wont change, just the time of day. I am a day person and sleeping during the day has been really hard for me to adjust to. Yes, they are hiring but sadly you would have to relocate to lovely Schaumburg Illinois. The upside is that there is a Mideval Times about a mile of the road. Other then that it gets really cold here in the winter. Have I mentioned how much I hate the midwest winters?
