I saw my first trailer for Transformers when I went to see Shrek with my daughter last night. It looks great. The special effects looked real good. There wasn't much dialog from the Transformers but the humans seemed to talk a lot. Still looks good. ;D

At first I wasn't excited. I felt the movie looked too dark. I don't like the extra darkness in some CGI dependent movies. I made the mistake of mentioning this to my wife and found out that she really wanted to see the movie and if I didn't want to she didn't want to. Well, then I instantly changed my tune, since she generally doesn't get excited about movies like these. So, I have changed my tune. I have seen more previews and it looks a little better to me, so I guess we are going to see this one.

Well my wife who did have a couple of these toys as a little girl but only liked the original transformers cartoon was very excited. I think she was mostly excited to see me excited about this movie. My daughter was freaked out because it was very loud in the theater but otherwise she thought it was cool. Yes, 3 years old and she called this movie cool. She also says dude, but that is neither here nor there. Guess she takes after her dad after all.

Yup. If your a reader then I suggest picking it up. Its at my work right now so I can't remember the actual title but its the only Transformer Novel out right now.

Well to be honest I don't have any of it either. Thundercats was coming along quite nice with your help, but Transformers was still my baby. All the bugs were worked out. It was simple and very playable. *sigh* I could probably sell the damn thing right about now if I had it. I could remake it. I remember a lot considering my shit for memory.

Just saw Pirates and there for the Transformers Trailer. Looks pretty damn good but I agree that I would have liked to see at least one transformer say....ANYTHING! Not one word spoken, I hope thats an oversight and not how the movie will be.  |

I think you're right. Swear I hear someone speak. Not sure it was optimus but it was one of the autobots. Do you see the trailer where they found megatron?

I think I saw Megatron standing in some kind of lab or factory when two guys come in and look at him. Hard to tell. Oh and don't get upset when Megatron is not a gun.
