Ok, for the most part I assume you have all played Palladium but for newbies or people who have not played in a while here is the basic run down for stats to help you pick a character template.
First off, ALL attributes range from 1-30
1-8 is poor with 1 being the worst. Stats in these levels will probably give a character some sort of related penalty. See 'home rules' thread.
9-10 are average and would imbue no real penalty or bonus of any kind.
11-14 is considered to be a bit above average. Most OCC's require one or more related attributes to be in these levels or better to qualify.
15-19 is percieved as Impressively above average with 16 or higher giving bonuses related to those attributes.
20-25 is incredibly gifted and gives high bonuses in those fields
26-30 is considered Herculian in ability providing unparalleled bonuses.
I.Q. stands for well IQ. Intelligence level. Multiply by 10 to give you a modern IQ level so 9 = 90 IQ while 15 = 150
M.E. stands for Mental endurance, measuring the amount of mental stress a character can handle.
M.A. of Mental Affinity shows the character's personal charm and charisma. Natural leaders have 16 or higher in this attribute.
P.S. Refers to Physical Strength. It determines damage bonuses or penalties as well as carrying and lifting capacities.
P.P. Physical Prowess is Arguabley the most valued attribute fo any character. It determines how agile or dextrous a person is and high #'s give certain combat bonuses.
P.E. Physical Endurance demonstrates the persons stamina and durability. This # is the base of a characters Hit Points and may give bonuses or penalties for certain Saving throws such as resist poisons, coma and even death.
P.B. stands for Physical Beauty is the characters physical attractiveness level. Beautiful people have an easier time charming or impressing people while ugly ones have a harder time with social gatherings.
Spd. Ones Speed determines how fast a character may run and how far one can walk in an hour. In a chase or race this is the ONLY attribute that will determine who wins.
