ok, play the detect magic and Concealment as...nothing detected. Yes the sixth sense is active and I already took off the points for that. Remember it really only kicks on (alerts you) if you or someone near you is literally just about to be attacked or harmed (within 30 seconds). Not that I wouldn't have it on 24-7 as well. As far as whats in the bundle it is yet another item that I'm sure you will object read. So to save time....it is a well crafted dagger. Military grade with a rune symbol stamped into the bottom of the hilt. Object read reveals a dwarf forging it. A dwarf putting it in a crate. And Sminner holding it while running toward Garrotten at night. Have fun writing that up any way you want.

Thanks, let's see what I can do with that. So did we see anyone who might be following/watching us? Gaul is still manning the window watching for anyone who might be approaching from the street.

I'm thinking about taking the dagger to Jutton Silversmith to see if he knows anything about the markings.

Also, I'm thinking of bringing in some "big guns", Lord Kursaville the knight sounds like a good fit for some wrong doing such as this. Innocents being killed, Ogres, evil deep dwarves, that should help cleanse his soul. Or am i way off track on this?

So what kind of things can we get from the Nexus and at what price range? The Nexus Point is a TRUE Alchemist shop. There is a HUGE inventory of items for sale as well as enchantments to customize whatever you desire. Basicly every item in the book as well as anything you can come up with can potentionally be found at the Nexus point or he can sell you the information to find such an item. However it is all rediculously expensive and you can't hope to buy anything without at least a grand, other than Information such as Rumors, history, legends, magic identification and stuff like that. All reasonably inexpensive magic such as potions are found at Androsias. Both Alchemists try and stay out of the others areas of expertise so Androsia is low end, temporary stuff. If you give me an idea of what you are looking for I will be happy to give you a price.

Innocents being killed, Ogres, evil deep dwarves, that should help cleanse his soul. Or am i way off track on this? You are not off track per se. This adventure can go a LOT of different ways. Please keep in mind this particular plot you have stumbled on has no time limit. Things will evolve naturally and over time. If at any time you feel stumped/frustrated/over matched or seem to lack a piece of the puzzle, please feel free to step back, go do another adventure and pick up this investigation at another time. Things may just fall into place as things unfold in the future. On the other hand as long as you feel you are making progress go for it. It is sort of hard to explain but I'm tryng somthing new. Just about all the adventures I have posted to choose from are individual (stand alone) games and yet they all interlink as well. For example as you have noticed, You and homeskillet have both had run ins with Firebrand's men even though neither of you have gone on that adventure. Homeskillets actions or inabilities to be more acurate caused the death of three members of the merchant Guild guards. This caused new jobs to appear. The shipwreck Chierinaua is on could inadvertantly interact with your investigation or maybe not. He may even find clues that would help you and if you two ever joined up later you could find these things out. Another example is again FireBrand. YOU know the location of his hideout. But what if Homeskillet or Chier decide to go after him? They lack that information and won't get it unless you some how interact. In a nut shell I am treating this as a world where everything could effect something else. Sorry I rambled on there. As far as hiring on Lord Kursaville go ahead. The muscle is always good and yes he could be easily persuaded to join for such a cause.

I think I broke my own record on that last posting. Anyway, while I'm doing these things with Siff and Kursaville, I trust between Gaul and Reeks with their training and experience they wil be able to gather any necessary gear for a stake out.
Did I just open a can of worms by going to Jutton? Should be interesting. I'll either die or get some info about the mysterious dwarves. We'll see.

I think I'll hold off on talking to the blacksmith until we get a chance to look at the castle. I assume Reeks and Gaul have been to the smith so they should be able to ID him if we should meet him again.
I was also thinking that the knight can be used to get sminner's book from the constable.

It's about 6 pages long but I posted the scenerio between the knight and constable. Hopefully it'll pass critique. I figured that the constable has some psionic ability so I'm not quite lying and he does what to help and he is a witch hunter, and he could work as a deputy.

That's cool, might still work to my advantage. Reeks and Gaul will now be able to check out the castle and even mingle with the staff to find out if there has been anything unusual happening. Firebug and Siff will speak with the blacksmith now to kill time until Lord Kursaville returns.
