OK, so do you wish to enter town and look around a bit or jump right into an adventure and then look around if needed?
Your record sheet has also been updated. There are still a few blanks for both of us to fill in.

I would imagine that I would at least have to go to town to pick up those NPC's. I seem to alreay have my rations and supplies. The NPC's might need to gather their things, unless they are already with me. That would be up to you. Otherwise, the longest journey begins with a single step. So let's get this party started. Ok we will start on the adventure then assuming you hired on the help. Remember that retainers get a full share of any and all treasure while Henchmen get what they ask for. Picking Daisies is fine if you want a short game though I may have to beef it up for your group. The Escort is still available if you want a longer one as well, or if you ask REAL nice like I MAY have a short adventure that doesn't require you to pick flowers.

What do you think? I tried to leave it vague and not get too detailed about Firebug. I just used his alignment of Anarchist (selfish) as a model. I'll change anything that rubs you the wrong way including and upto the whole thing if you had something TOTALLY different in mind. Just let me know.

actually, this feels good. I'm trying to play to the way you've established the story so far. just tell me if I'm taking too many liberties or moving too fast. I do like the implied intensions of my character. In fact it gives me a sense of the tone as well so I know were I'm going in a manner of speaking.

Excellent. We should prob. hammer out an 'Ultimate' goal for you. Why did you create this group and why the behind the scenes/secret backer aproach? If we can come up with something that fits it will help in the long run I think. Thoughts?

Excellent. We should prob. hammer out an 'Ultimate' goal for you. I have always been partial to ' World Domination', but that's just me.

You would. I prefer; Total destruction of the universe! Muahhahahahaaaa. Though one never really gets to relish in a job well done once one succeeds.

Actually, the motive behind it was that I am not a physically imposing character but Reek is. Since I'm smarter then the average bear it seemed logical that if everyone thought that Reek was the ringleader then;
1.) I can work rather unnoticed 2.) people are impressed by strength and by a stronger leader, Reek is not terribly smart so if I feed him the right lines and timely suggestions he can appear to fit that role 3.) my personal favorite, the leader tends to be the target of attacks and tends to catch the eye of the stronger evil nasties we might encounter. This is an unlike band of heroes (?), and if they should rebel, they kill the leader not the lowly bookworm scholar. 4.) gives me time to gather my power and develop my strengths before stepping forward. besides it's easier to have others do the dirty work.
So I guess my ultimate goal would be to amass great fortune and power, in no particular order.

hope you don't mind I stopped with us still on the river. I wanted to leave you some room in the event you wanted to have "something" happen. Let me know if I'm taking Gaul the wrong way, or if I'm running him too dark. We have the same alignment but figured he might have some racial character issues that might allow for this.
how far from the river is this location for the herbs? Is this an over night, several night, or afternoon sort of mission? I just want to know what to expect, and how I should be planning for my next posts.
What about Arthur, I'm not sure what happened there, but it seems that he has a crush on Siff. That was never my intension, but here we are. I'll try to steer away from that as we go.

1. The crush thing. Let it play out. It is not far fetched at all. Halflings are taken in by beauty and have a history of being in Awe of elves and creatures of great beauty. It is obviously doomed to fail but it could be a nice added feature to his character development for awhile. 2. Gaul. He can have all the evil thoughts that you want to give him. As long as he only 'Acts out' the ones permitted by his alignment. As far as killing Innocent bugs and even small animals. Heck thats just orcs. No complaints there. Another thing to remember is that Orcs are only as brave as their leader and even then only in numbers of 5-20. So if any of you get injured or if Reeks shows weakness it will greatly effect his willingness and ability to fight. Just thought you should know. 3. Stopping on the river was a GOOD idea. While I had nothing bad happening I am glad you are taking into consideration that something COULD have happened. Keep posting like that and things will go smoothly. If you ever 'jump the gun' I'll ask you to modify your post or as I have already done with you, (bet you didn't notice) just work around it. I'm quite flexible and fluid. I've been On-line 'post' roleplaying for a while now so I'm used to having to change things up. No worries. 4. Time frame. If you have no trouble (joke), it should take a day to a day & a half. Once on the far side of the river you will need to backtrack to Fort Brant across from the town of Garrotten. From there you will head north into the wilderness.

I just subtracted the gold as well as adjusted you ISP (Inner Strength Points) for telepathy. You can use it for 2 minutes at a time at level 1, so I figured out you must have used it five times thus far. 5x4 isp = 20 points. You have 46 points remaining for the day. Unless you meditate. Note you automatically get all your points back each new day with rest. Don't panic. You should be fine, just keeping you informed.

Would you have a map of this area, for my reference? On the site you have the city of Garrotten, the world and I believe it is the souther realm. Based on the the landmark of FT Brant I have a very high level view of the area. You'll have to interject any terrain type issues.

When we break for lunch, I've noticed that Siff and Reek don't have rations noted. I believe Arthur would happily share his food with Siff, and I with Reek. That should also help to patch things with him.

one mroe thing, after I eat a little something, I'm going to meditate until the others finish up. I'll stop when they're ready and whatever points i can recover are fine.
