ok, here is how climbing works. You roll your % for every 20'. So you only need to make it your first time. 'IF' you fail the first roll you must roll again to maintain your grip. If you fail the second roll as well you fall 10' to the ground. Got it? Have fun.  |

I rolled 48% for climb and 24% for scaling walls. I wasn't sure if I needed both so I rolled them both. so its 48/24% an that means she passed. |

Actually the second % # is for repelling down or climbing down. Much harder to go down a shear surface then up. So you only needed the first roll. (Keep rolling anytime your not sure though. It never hurts) so you made it. Good.

im not sure if im allowed to post here, but here goes anyway. um, repelling down should be the easiest out of all of it! as long as you have something to tie to.

You would think so but, only if you are properly trained and if you are using rope to properly repel. Issues come up when A. you need to 'scale' down with out a rope. B. have not been tought how to wrap the rope around you correctly. C. Don't know how to 'slide' down using the rope. and D. Most people have trouble if they look down which is sort of required when repelling. Oh, and yes all the OOC threads are open to all players for comments and discussions concerning the adventures. yeah, but reppelling is considerably different from climbing down. bottom line is you have a rope to hold onto instead of trying to find something to hold onto.
no big deal. my charactrer will just teleport there like in jumper

Speak first and I will decide if you need to roll a charm/impress. Sometimes I just make it work or fail and sometimes I make you roll. Depends on the situation.
