What's up with the quote? And isn't the Alchemist a gnome?

I don't know how the quote happened it was an error.
Gardrax a gnome? Hardly. Well...it really depends on whom you ask I suppose.
To Aiko he was a human in a room overlooking his home. According to Earl the Grey he was indeed a gnome. To FireBug he was a human overlooking one of his old schools. To Chiereneua he was an Elf. To Meylon and Bane he was an Elf.
Remember, Gardrax only sees one individual at a time except in this one case.

I actually missed the reference to the Gardrax being an elven male.

Bane would have noticed. Since he holds Elven kind in high esteem and hates most humans

I know he would have. No worries. Everyone misses info some times.

The pub's door? I thought Barbarius was much closer to the Nexus Point than that.

well at no point have you ever said that you moved from the inn. Bane kept walking away, stopped at the door, stopped in the street, etc. Barb and the assassin even were noted to have stayed behind.

well at no point have you ever said that you moved from the inn. Bane kept walking away, stopped at the door, stopped in the street, etc. Barb and the assassin even were noted to have stayed behind. Yes I did. THE INN: Barbarius took in a big gulp as she showed him the magic of her tankard. His eyes go wide when he sees what it does. He rubs the back of her neck," You are a most marvelous woman," Barbarius explains. He takes another drink, but quickly spits it out in a spray all over the woman he just complimented," ARE YOU KIDDING ME SUNNY?" Barbarius was now looking at Sunny," WHY? YOU DIDN'T TAKE COMMAND OF THE BOOK?" Barbarius stands up, wipes Lady Marrissa off and kisses her gently on the cheek," Sorry about that luv." Barbarius grabs his axe and looks at Sunny," Come on. We're going. We got to get that book before Melons tries to sell it!"and then the GM wrote this after words THE INN: "Hold my friend. Hold!" Sunny made sure he had the Slayers attention before continuing. "If you insist then lead on, but do not fret over Meylon. She will keep to her word." Sunny tossed a coin purse to a passing wench and the group left the Inn. Marrissa stayed close to Barbarius to his merriment. THE ALCHEMIST: Meylon had no time to comment as a troop of people with Barbarius at its head came there way. The dwarf did not look happy. "Err, Bane? Would you mind doing the talking? I have a feeling I'm not exactly trusted yet. Unless of course you think they just declared war on Wolfen." Pretty clear to me. I pictured you moving back to the Nexus Point. Maybe the GM can sort this all out.

well then all of my posts were incorrect since I was writing that I met you at the inn. Rereading it would seem that you met me at the alchemists'. All of this encounter happened in the street in front of the store. Which means that Barbarius is screaming about something that is meant to be kept quiet in front of the person that it was meant to be kept quiet from.
Not to mention, Bane is expected to hand over the book in front of the same store front. If we were anywhere else this wouldn't be a problem for me. Now that we have settled where this is happening, now I have a problem with this situation. Bane did his best to say nothing about the book during his meeting with the alchemist but now Barbarius is not only making a public announcement he wants me to "whip it out" in sight of the general public.
I agree, the GM will need to sort this out.

Yeah, I wasn't really concerned with where you thought you were. As I've stated before when I see errors or misunderstandings I just work around them. I don't like to make anyone 'repost' unless its just way off. It works great for single player play but, now I know I'll have to correct misunderstandings when I have a group. Live and Learn.

ok, the situation was easily remedied. Originally, and I must confess, while rereading the original post I didn't state the following properly; the two groups walking toward eachother ran into eachother half way between the Inn and the Alchemist shoppe. Because I tried to 'go with it' instead of correcting the misunderstanding the scene jumps from the street to the pub to the street to the alchemist door back to the pub....you get the picture.
So to correct it I have edited ALL the relevant posts to reflect that everyone is in the street halfway between both buildings. The book is with Sunny and no one but the group knows whats up. If you want to reread the posts they will all say;
Last edited by Game Master; and a time or date at the bottom. So now anyone who reads this story will know where this is taking place.
Now the story is Moving on to....*sigh* Gardrax's troll. (Homeskillet have mercy on me please.)
