While Aiko studies the stones and Firebug rests Kursaville speaks his mind. "We should regro..."
"Hey there." The investigative team turn to see Mason trailed closely by Siff and Tull. Mason observes the haggard looking Firebug "Found them." he pipes up while pointing to Sull and Stone.
"Excellent." Kursaville continued. "I was going to suggest we regroup and go over our findings before we continue on." Seeing that Aiko was still studying the rocks with what appeared to be some kind of meditation he reluctantly turned to Sull the gully dwarf. "So, uh, master Sull. What were your findings?"
Sull squares his shoulders and looks at the group with great intensity. "The Trapper Fox is a halfling. He kidnapped the girl and plans on skinning her." He looks over at Stone who is still preoccupied. "Stone thinks otherwise."
"Uhh, maybe....uh, never mind. Can I assume you were both on the way to find Moonhaven?" Kursaville figured even this poor fellow could respond to that.
Sull nodded in agreement.
"Good. We still need to talk to this Madam whats her name. I'm sure she's a fraud like most gypsies are but we may still learn something. Who wants to go first with what they found?"

" These are limestone," Stone explains," As for what cave, I won't know until I find a cave and look around a little. There are lime stone deposits to the east of town. In the hills by D'encre estate. As for the medallion, Firebug I merely answered your question. You asked,'What can you tell me about your medallion's enchantment?' and I told you what I knew. Nothing. Obviously it is an artifact of power, why else would I risk my life to make sure that Dragon Wolf will never have it?" Stone smiles. He hands the rocks back to Lord Kursaville and takes the parchment. Immediately Stone's eyes go wide. He holds the paper between his two fingers by one corner, turns it, looking at the front, the back, the sides." Very strange..."

Lord Kursaville took the rocks from Stone. He looked to Firebug who sat with his back against the building, head down and eyes closed. Kursaville was familiar enough with psychics to know that they had to rest often to regain their strength. "Firebug said that this parchment seemed to be either magical in nature or to be under the influence of magic. What do you think?"
Kursaville turned to Tull, "You said that you're from here. What can you tell me about a cave in the area that somone might find rocks like these?" He asked as he handed Tull the small pouch.

"Don't you see?" Stone asked, but before he gets an answer, " Firebug just pulled this out of a pouch, right?"

Lord Kursaville shook his head, "No he found it in Nilla's room in a small chest. I stuffed it into a pouch because he could see nothing else with it out. Why?"

Aiko smiles,"This paper is flawless. No crease or bend," Stone enjoys mysteries like this," Plus, this isn't paper." After making this fact known Stone holds it as if he was going to read it and looks at both sides, but has nothing else to report. Hands it back to Lord Kursaville. " I live here ,but I don't go crawling into caves!" Tull seemed a little upset. His halfling nature, sure would have him in tunnels, but he and his uncle were of more finer human tastes and thought burrows to be so, uncivilized.

Lord Kursaville's lips curled into a frown as he took the parchment from Stone. He turned to address Tull, "I meant no insult nor to demean you in any way, but I thought that since you were from the area that you might be more familiar with the local geology. Perhaps I should find someone else to aid in identifting the source of these rocks." Kursaville took the pouch back from Tull and returned it to his belt, "do you have anything useful that you would like to add Mr Tull?"

Yes, I find it very unusual that Moonhaven was so gentle to Nilla," Tull admitted," That High Elf shows no one kindness, but he braids Nilla's hair? Very odd."

"That is the kind of insight I want. Let's go pay this Moonhaven a visit. In fact, I would like to have a work with this fortune teller as well. I will go to speak with Moonhaven first, then we will pay a visit to the gypsy. Let's hope she isn't expecting us. Mr Tull I ask that you lead the way since you know the lay of the land and would know Moonhaven on sight. I will gathe Master Firebug." Kursaville walked over to where Firebug sat meditating.

Firebug rose as Kursaville layed his hand on Firebug's shoulder, "I'll have to rest later or meditate longer if I'm going to be any good to you."
"I understand but right now we need to catch with the rest of the group. "
Firebug moved slowly to follow with Kursaville behind him and together the easily caught up to the rest of the group.

The group made good time even through the unusually busy streets. They were able to get directions from one of the castle guards. They proceeded to the fields behind the castle where some of the townsfolk worked and toiled along side slaves and indentured servants. A dark skinned and hairy task master, maybe even the one Emmi mentioned, gave the group a hard time.
"No one is gunna bother one of my workers, ESPECIALLY one thats getting payed. You can all just wait here till they have a break or catch him at the end of his shift. Moonhaven is a good worker and I won't have the likes of you slowing him down." The man lazily taped his curled up whip against his thigh the whole time.

Lord Kursaville pushed his way forward, toward the task master, "My name is Lord Kursaville, constable, appointed by the Baron! We need to speak with Moonhaven now, consider him on break or I will have that very whip used on you for interfering with my investigation! Do you understand me!?" Kursaville leaned into the task master's face as he barked at him.

The Task Master leered at Kursaville. "Constable ehh? Tell Ritage he still owes me twenty crowns. I happen to work for the Baron as well. These are HIS bloody fields. He doesn't like to miss his quota to the kings army so as I said scar face. Come back when he's on BREAK!" The Task Master tapped Kursavilles chest with the butt of his whip as he says break. Kursaville stared at the man who snarled back at him. Both Tull and Firebug step forward but Kursaville waves them off.
"Fine. We'll see just how chummy with the Baron you really are. Firebug, Aiko, Sull and Mason please wait here and speak with Master Moonhaven as soon as he's on break. Tull, Siff your with me. We'll speak to this fortune teller everyone puts their faith in. Lord Kursaville storms off with Siff and Tull close behind. Within a couple minutes they are out of site.
"Well that was odd." Mason comments.
"BREAK TIME!" The Task Master shouts. He turns away from the party members and walks away. Laughing all the while.

Stone smiles and walks over to Moonhaven." Good elf," Stone bows and rises to meet his eyes," We need your assistance."
