Pick any test of skill you wish to join. Entry fees are 20/50/100 Timiro gold Crowns per contestant depending on rank entered. ALL contests are sub-divided into levels of Rank;
Novice is for characters of levels 1-5 only. Intermediate is for levels 6-10 Champion is for levels 11-15 (*Note these are NPC suggested levels. Players may sign up for any that they wish)
All categories will be round robin format and allow only 12 contestants/combatants to participate in any given category of each rank. A player may join as many categories as he/she wishes as long as they can pay the fee. Please note that some categories are physical combat oriented and contests run back to back in the order listed. If you are forced to drop from a contest do to injury you forfeit the entrance fee.
Please ask questions here but, sign up under the events. *Note this tournament is placed out of time/context with any current adventures so you do not actually need to be 'in town' to participate.
This event may go through some changes as I figure out the best way to post it all.

Ok, this looks fun, but I am curious, what does "competing" in falconry entail? Is it like a best of show dog show deal?

AHH! I am so glad you asked because this was put in just for Talon (obviously). The thing is....I'd really need your help to set up what 'trials' would be entailed to prove good falconry techniques. Good responses?....a hunt?...returning?....help me out. How does one Falconer compare himself with another?

Well, there are not really competitions. I guess you compare on how well mannered your bird is, how perfect its plumage, and how successful and inteligent in the hunt. Honestly it is not something you compete with.
In the renaissance however, some prizes for tournaments etc. were raptors and other prized animals.
