Has anyone gone to see the movie in theater or watch the TV show? I missed the movie but only because I was dead broke when it came out. I've been watching the cartoon since episode 6. I really like it. I have a few issues such as Aniken having a padawan but all in all it's a good little show.

Wow. That's a lot from a man who lost all faith in SW!
Welcome back to the fold.

I've played star wars before. not bad but it seemed way to easy to earn dark side points. The guy I played with a huge fan (nut). I'd love to give it a try if you decide to start something

I am not quite back to the fold, but these shows remind me how much fun I had with the old RPG. I know that after a while everything started sounding the same, but it was cool. I was thinking about creating a game that represents exactly how Lucas should have presented the Clone Wars or something based in the Rebellion era, but with nothing to do with Luke and his bunch. It will be a long time before I get the books though, finances are tight, but if I do I will let you all know.

ditto on the cool part. I always liked the RPG and how you didn't have to focus on the main characters. Groups were tough though 'cause you always had a Bounty Hunter and a Smuggler.

we could run a dark group. assassins, sith lords, etc. I don't think we have to play good guys.

I bought the books. I got the main book and the Sourcebook that immediately followed. I think that is all I need. I will not be doing a bad guy game and I am leaning toward a Rebellion Era game, but that may change when I get the books. The other idea would be too time consuming to make and very trippie game, because my vision of the Clone Wars is too awesome to behold and very intense.

Whatever you can handle. Just don't drop your other awsome games to start a new one! That IS kinda your MO. I'll take a smuggler if SF takes a Bounty Hunter. Talon is a huge SW fan as well. We could prob. get him in on it as well. Can I have an Ewok Jedi?

Is that a joke?

yes, and for two reasons. One I saw one on the Marvel site we go to and thought it was ridiculous. Secondly because I'm reading a Star Wars Novel right now that has an Ewok fighter pilot who uses leg extensions to fly. ALSO ridiculous!

I worry about these Star wars books, but you already know that. I am not sure when I will see the books, but it should be within the week. I will let you know when they come.

Amazon.com and it was alright. I could have gotten the Sourcebook of 24 cents, but I was afraid what I would get. I missed the ad. What was it?
