Leknora picked up the last leaf and studied it in detail while in thought. After a short while he spoke but, Mason wasn't entirely sure to whom.
"In the book of ages my great decendents will read; ...and behold the life of Leknora...slayer of leaves!"
The elf returned the arrow to his quiver and turned to walk back to the Fort.
"I fear I may not be a true warrior. Maybe I should stick to practice and archery faires."

" True warriors command armies," Mason explains," We are guarding a caravan. You have time for the book yet. Now you must take the task at hand and excel. It is easy for one to not act outside of their element. This too will pass. Come let's go and rest. Tomorrow we ride again.
