ok, so Verizon is insuring me it is no longer my line giving me trouble and to them it doesn't sound like a virus. To them it sounds that when my line was burned out it may have caused some data corruption in my system. YEAH! Now I'm out of my element. Pixie or Chier I need help. DO I reboot/reset my entire system back to the day I bought it errasing any corrupted data while simultainiously losing all my info such as saved games and more importantly pictures or do I get professional help like geek squad or who ever? Is there anything else you reccommend? I also plan on DLing AVG as well as a new browser such as FireFox. Internet Explorer just causes dto many problems. I can't seem to do that though until I fix this corruption issue if that is indeed what it is. Have you ever seen the movie Old Yeller?

I spent way to much money on this PC to shoot it. It's my fault really. I knew the lines in this area were bad but, I still chose to use DSL vs wireless or cable. I know Internet Explorer is targeted by hackers and has problems but, I was to lazy to switch over to FireFox. I didn't DL AVG before I had trouble even though I've been told to by friends forever. Yeah other then the old lines it's all on me.

Please, please, please, find time to let me come look at your computer. Verizon told me I had no virus too, remember? And superantivirus found 564 copies of one plus a bunch of other stuff that was screwing me up. And ever since it found them and deleted them my computer has been up and running super awesome. Even if it takes forever I guarantee I will find a way to fix it without having to completely reboot the system. That is a complete and total last resort! Pleeeeeeeeeaaaase, I like fixing things. You know that!
