ok, do to the HUGE response for this section (all but one of you want a character) I want to set up a few rules.
#1 Veriety is the spice of life so I don't want to GM for 4 thieves and 2 assassins. I will get bored and maybe even confused, so to fix that everyone must be a different OCC (Occupational Character Class).
#2 (all characters must be evil or selfish)
Manic Pixie has a Thief
Trickrat is an Assassin.
So what's left?
Here are your 'best' choices though anyone can take these missions if it makes sense with your Character.
Vagabond: Not the best OCC out there but don't underestimate this guy. He's poor and down on his luck, he has some street skills as well as wilderness skils and can fight with the best of them. This would make a good freelance thief.
Mind Mage: (Taken by SF) Simple as a Psychic killer or someone who just wants to use his powers to better his own life.
Scholar: Probably a better NPC but if you like a roleplaying challenge this character could be for you. They are great at forgery, languages, sciences, communication and they can still use any rogue skill you want to give them. This is the intelectual thief if you will. He/she will need support or a body guard.
Merchant: These guys make great fences and schemers. A plotter who plans cappers. Probably a leader of a group of like minded (or hired) people.
Longbowman: Do I really need to explain this one?
Mercenary: Easily tailored to thieving or hitman. A hands on kinda guy. Forget the stealthy kill.
Wizard: The right spells make up for any lack of skill. Motivational reasons are endless
Illusionist: same as wizard but powers are VERY weak at low levels.
Deserter/Brigand: This one I have made up myself and is not fully developed. (and won't be unless someone is interested-I have enough to do already. hehe) Anyway he is an EX-Soldier. Now turned Rogue. As such his OCC skills will be very soldier like but his related skills will be more Rogue oriented. Very simular to the Mercenary but with a different skill set. This would be a jack of all trades type, oh and yeah you start with a bounty on your head so, good luck with that.
I can't leave out pirate though lets face it he would be better off at sea.
Again, these are just suggestions that work best with the adventures/jobs I have posted and will be posting.
If none of this interests you then persuade me.
