The Nexus Point: Alchemist shop

The Nexus point looks like a small wooden shack in disrepair. The odd looking sign out front however glows a pale blue that changes to red and then green and finally back to blue again. When one first walks inside they tend to be stunned. For while the building is clearly only 30 square at most, the inside is as large as a palace. Great cathedral ceilings with flying buttresses greet those who enter the vast foyer. A Troll, decked out in a suit of studded leather and waring a nasty looking flail on his hip welcomes you all to the Nexus point Alchemy shop. The Unnamed Troll states that,

"You are encouraged to wander the main hall and admire any item that fancies the eye. You are warned however that no touching is allowed. Items are clearly marked as to what properties they possess and the firm price is listed in neat, bold print. Please do not stray from the main hall as the rest of the establishment is off limits. Any questions may be directed to the Troll. If an appointment is made then an audience with Gardrex the Great may be secured for the following day. While it should be obvious it is important to realize that any attempt at thievery will result in a most unpleasant, painful and lingering demise. Have a nice day."

When someone enters the Shop I will list ALL items, services and enchantments that person can afford with his/her current gold. In this way the shops inventory will be listed a little at a time and save me a lot of work all at once. If you know what you are looking for I will of course tell you the price.


Magic Scrolls: Averages, any given scroll may cost up to 50% more
Spell level 1-2: 800-1200
Spell level 3-5: 2,000-2,500
Spell level 6-7: 3000-4000
Spell level 8-9: 5,000-7,000
Spell level 10-12: 10,000-15,000

Scroll of Eyes of the Wolf spell: 5,000
Amulets, rings, medallions or bracelets of Night Vision (60' x3 day):15,000
Boots of Mystery (leaves no prints): 30,000
Eye of the Cat (crystalline monocle): 7,000
