The American Legion is the United States premier Super hero agency. Created in January 2008 the Government funded agency consists of two high profile teams. Team #1: The American Legion: International takes on threats at a global level. They are ambassadors to any nation requesting assistance as well as a strike force for hot spots around the world. They are even trained or at least prepared to take on intersteller forces seeking to harm Mother Earth and the US of A. Consisting of five active members they also have a huge support staff and military support when authorized.
Team #2: The American Legion: Homeland Defenders Are the US Super Defense force. They handle internal threats, Terrorism and the protection of US soil from outside invaders of anykind. On occasion the two teams may exchange members or work together on a common goal. Homeland has the full support of the US military and it's active members vary greatly in number as the needs of the country demand.
Both teams work out of 'the Spire' as a base of operations where the majority of their support staff, advisors, hardware and technology can be found.
