Scab? You mean the name that Pablo was supposed to have?

Scab? You mean the name that Pablo was supposed to have? I always thought Pablo was an odd choice but you honestly considered naming your first born son Scab? There has to be a good story to that one.

There has to be a good story to that one. You don't remember? When I was asked about what I was going to name my first born I always wanted to name him Scab. Of course, I really never thought I would reproduce.

very charming, but I don't recall such a conversation, though I would imagine that the story behind that must be very interesting.

No real story. It came from my Punk Rock Days. I wanted to name my first born Scab. Everyone thought that was cruel, I just thought I would have the baddest motherf*cker for a kid. Yeah it was pretty hardcore. The reality is, I never thought I would ever find a woman that would want to marry me and I never thought I would live past the age 27.

I remember the not living to see 27 and, well, we never really thought you'd reproduce either. hehe. However I just can't remember you wanting to name your kid Scab. My memory really sucks.

Sooo, what do you all think of this and the world news threads? I was bored and thought they would be useful.

This is good but is this stuff for us or stuff that our characters already know or stuff that our characters could know if they asked around?

It adds to the realism, but how many people could read a local periodical?

Well as for the world news, it is delivered by the town crier. That is not the title of a paper but an actual crier, meaning a person who reads this stuff aloud to the townfolk. So you can asume that your characters have recently heard whatever I post in that forum. As for the bounties, they are posted at the local constabulary and some like FireBrad are posted around town as well. So everyone knows of FireBrands and I would say all of Firebugs group knows of them all. Aiko can head over at any time. I thought it would help to know of who the local bad guys are. Hmmm, I guess I could have posted a Constabulary thread under the Town board and listed them there. Ah well. Hind sight.

I think it might be nice to have a constable area, locked down of course, sort of a police blotter thing. Might be a nice distraction but could also provide leads for work, adventures or even updates on other characters work, like how Chier fought Firebrand and ran him off. I think it might be of value later on.
