ok, after reading the rewrite it just seemed easier to delete the follow up posts instead of editing them. I'll wait for 'Bane' (SF) then I'll respond.

I started asking those questions before he left. Your original post he asked "What say you?" and Barbarius had some questions before he could make a decision. I started typing those questions and then while I was typing you added more. If he can't answer Barbarius, then don't ask Barbarius for his opinion, because he doesn't have one.

Sorry about Sunny jumping the gun. I just assumed with Banes response of he didn't care and Barbarius' response of Fair 'nuff that that is what you decided. If you can come up with the money or a Magic item go for it.

Hey GM, Couldn't Barbarius see that herd? Should I start my post with Barbarius halfway down the stairs determined to get to them or do want to edit this little tidbit in. In fact, isn't Barbarius' sight more than even an elf's? Maybe he could see someone herding the creatures or what type of beasts they may be.

You are correct that Barbarius could see that far. I just didn't want to 'force' him to look. This is barbarius. He might not give two shits about some herd that two elves are talking about. On the other hand he might be curious. I just wanted you to make that call. Now that I know you want to take a look I'll add that in.  |

Well after typing this up twice I feel it would be better coming from Barbarius.
so here is what you learn. Type it upa ny way you want to respond.
Barbarius looks over and feels his eyes zoom out over the plain and focus on the herd. He sees a dozen creatures that have the lower half of a horse and the upper half of a human. Some are armed with bows and others with spears. They are headed this way. He also sees words flashing in his vision.

I'm going to guess that Bane can neither see, smell or hear anything at this great range. Unless Barb will post about what he sees then I guess we begin decending from the tower.
