***Neighbors***
"Uh, better not to see them. I know how Emmi can get when she's upset. Wailing up a storm I'll bet. I have to get back into the woods and check my traps anyway. I had a small haul this last time and I'm hoping to catch me some good pelts for market. I'll keep a look out for the youngin now that I know she's missing. Thanks for informing me. Goodbye." With that Fox closes the door.
Sull shrugs and begins to walk away. "Off to the fields aye Stone?" Aiko just nods while in thought. The two companions start to trek there way towards the castle fields to see if they can't find the elven fellow.

***The Chase***
Whatever or whomever it was, was traveling back toward town. It was at the edge of his range fading in and out and the two would have to walk quickly to keep it in range. Kursaville tried his best to keep up with Firebug, but his armor was slowing him a bit. "d**n it man, whats going on?"
Firebug scanned the road ahead looking for the tell-tale blue glow of magic.

***The Family***
"Where are they off to in such a hurry?" Cette D'encre asked with a tinge of worry and maybe laced with a little hope in his voice.
Tull just looked at Siff as if she could explain the two men scurrying out the door. "Uhh, The Lord alone knows what goes on in FireBugs head. Don't worry Master D'encre that man is your best hope of finding Nilla. He has the gift." Siff pointed to her temple with an index finger. "With your permission I would like to take this time to Bless your home." She smiled warmly.
"Yes of course." Cette seemed to relax and looked at Tull. "So Tull, lets have some tea while we talk." He moved to the hearth and removed a kettle of hot water.
"EXCELLENT Idea Master D'encre, thank you." A halfling never declined an offer of food or drink.

***The Chase***
Firebug could feel the object of their chase just barely within the range of his sense and moved from a fast walk to a jog to make up the distance.
"You know this would be a hell of a lot easier with my horse. Keep going, I'll be right behind and will catch up when I can." Kursaville called out after Firebug between panting breathes.
"Do try to hurry, I don't know what this is but I don't want to try to face it alone." Firebug then began to pull away as he out distanced Lord Kursaville.
"Should have brought my horse, should have brought my horse," he mummbled to himself. Kursaville did his best to keep up with Firebug when he saw Firebug disappear up ahead around the corner of a building. "d**ned psychics."

****The Neighbors**** " Yes Sull, Let us talk with the elf," Stone agreed," So Sull, now that you have met Fox, what do you think? Is he our kidnapper?"

***The Family***
Sitting at the small table with Emmi resting and Siff chanting a prayer over the household Tull listened to Cette while sipping tea.
"Your quite astute Tull. My difficulties with Moonhaven go WELL beyond just my pitch fork. Emmi doesn't know this but that elf gives me the creeps. I've had to watch Nilla closly with the fellow. He's very nice to my daughter. Overly nice if you know what I mean. Giving her small gifts, sitting her on his lap. Telling her stories. Hell he even braids her hair. It could be he just has a fondness for her or maybe I'm just being over protective but there it is."

****The Family**** Tull is shocked by the statement," You are talking about Moonhaven right?" Tull asked to be sarcastic, but the elf in question is vile to everyone," Don't get me wrong, your little Nilla is a blessed child, This why I have brought my friends here to help, but Moonhaven doesn't like anyone. I don't know the elf well, what have you observed of your neighbor's mannerisms? Other than working the fields, does he show any other talents? Maybe of the magical variety?"

***The messenger boy***
Mason was a little annoyed. I've become a messenger boy. He thought. It was probably just his overall dislike of most people. He preferred solitude.
"My associate Firebug is tracking something magical. We need you to find Stone and Sull. Once you do track us down. We're headed toward town." With only a nod from Mason Kursaville ran off after the scholarly fellow Firebug.
Firebug. What an odd name. Mason shrugged and climbed down from the tree. The view revealed nothing new. It only confirmed his thoughts. A single, well defined print was very odd indeed. Mason walked over to the Trappers house. Stone and Sull were no longer there. With a quick look at the ground he began following their tracks. They lead to town as well.

****The Messenger Boy**** Once the tracks are found Mason decides to pick up the pace to a brisk jog. He does this for 2 reasons: 1. A nice jog is what hr needs to get the heart pumping and Mason feeling good. 2. The sooner he found Aiko the sooner he could get back to his mystery print.

"Well nothing magical, but...he's an elf! I can deal with wood elves and I've never met a dark one thank the Lord, but those aristocratic, lofty, I'm so superior to you High Elves are just not trustworthy." Cette raised his voice and seemed truely agitated for the first time during the questioning. Even Siff had turned her head at his somewhat hostile claims.

****The Family**** Tull raises up toward his friend and pats and rubs his arm,"Yes, my friend, but why would he so kind to Nilla?" Tull inquired, but before getting an answer he continued," Where does Nilla go around here in play?"

"Anywhere she wants. She's a smart one. We've never had any trouble until now. She plays in the woods, up in the hills, down at the docks, she's a good swimmer. She's gone trapping with Fox once. I'm sure you've seen her in your uncles shop. Androsia's been schooling her in herbs. She's always back well before dark and then spends most of her time drawing in her room." Cette seemed to be getting more emotional. His speech was getting louder, as he talked more and more rapidly. He grips Tull's wrist. "I've GOT to get my little girl back Tull!

Tull shakes the man to a stop and gazes in his eyes, the most serious look he could give," I will Cette," Tull declares," I will. I only ask if you have noticed her going anyplace in particular? We can start there."

Cette seems to crumple into his seat. He relaxes with a sigh holding his head in his hand. "No, no she...wait...she showed me some rocks the day she disappeared. She said she had found them just that morning. She didn't mention where she found them, they, they were just rocks."
