Possibly. I'm just not sure. That's why I need to see Gardrex. Maybe he'll buy it from me. Orophin says this last sentence almost as if she was thinking out loud, looking away from Mullins, but keeping a tight grip on the stone to keep the little scamp from grabbing it.

"Oh, well ah, alright. I'll take you too him then. That sure is a pretty stone. I sure could use some luck these days."

Orophin looks at Mullins with surprise. I can't just give this to you. I wish to sell it. I am fairly lucky on my own, what I need are crowns. The alchemist would be able to buy, but do you think there may be someone else? Believe me, I could easily part with this... Orophin shows a little more of the stone, but still doesn't loosen her hold on it. She shows just enough to tease him with it. for the right price.

"Uhmm, well...I know some...people...who may be interested. They don't exactly care how someone came by an item if you understand my meaning. They can be a bit rough and they probably wouldn't offer full price for anything they buy...but of you really need the crowns..."

Oh I don't know. Would you be able to get it then? I mean, we're friends, right? Orophin flashes a smile, I want you to have this magical treasure not someone else. What can you get me for it?

"Well..." He looked around nervously. "What do you want for it? I mean...assuming I could get it."

Is it 50 or 60? Now Orophin sounds like a shrewd business woman.

The boy looked about and pulled out his purse and counted his coin. "Fifty six crowns"

Orophin pulls the stone to her lips, thinking. Long minutes pass as she thinks this through and when it seem Mullins is about to jump out of skin she smiles. Very well, Mullins. It's yours. She grabs the coins from his grubby hand as quick as she places the stone in his other hand. She takes a quick count and the crowns disappear in her purse. Orophin glances up in the sky. Well. Seems like a good time to be off to the Drunken Griffin. See you later Mullins. That stone will bring you good fortune. I just know it. Now, make sure you TELL no one of this stone. With this Orophin smiles, almost taunting and then she begins toward the Drunken Griffin. Good day.

The boy scampers off without another word once he has the stone in hand.

When Orophin arrives at the Drunken Griffin she doesn't bother to go inside. She sits at the least dirty of the "stumps" and awaits service. She hums a beautiful elfish melody as she waits.
