Yeah the army one was a needed adventure that in reality isn't an adventure at all. With OCC types such as Long bowman, Knight, Soldier, Mercenary and in reality just about EVERY available occ Could in theory be military based. A soldier can't just take adventures as he wants because he is,... well, in the military. That adventure is in actuality a military recruitment adventure in which the character will be enlisted for 4 years. Anyone taking that adventure will no longer get to pick adventures but will be sent where ever I send them. It's not a bad choice, just different. I'm pretty good at making military campaigns. I've never 'been there' of course but I get compliments from ex military people I've RPed with.

I don't think that my character is really Army material. Unless they have a magic division.
What I meant by playing like Paul T. was instead of following the path before us, to cut our own path by disintegrating the walls.
How many ex-military folks have you RP'd with? Most of the folks from the service that I've met look to play. Yet another example of a small world I guess.

I believe you mean Paul 'E'. unless I'm forgetting some other Paul. Long blond hair? I have played with 1 Army recruiter, 1 MP, 2 tankers, 1 Gun bunny, and a marine. Oh, and you. I prefer not to hang out with Air force and Navy guys. Although I played on line with a guy who was in the 101 Airborne or so he said. Oh and yes the Royal Timiro army have a minimum of 1 wizard or Warlock per Battalion. Psi-Mystics however....prob. not. Though I could see one as a military adviser to the Brass.

I'm a 'tard. Yes, Paul E., where did I pull Paul T. from? Maybe in a few levels I might checkout the miltary thing, but not yet. So where these all folks online? Like I said, there are a lot of folks in the military that role play. I would be careful of anyone you don't know dropping the name a specific unit. Usually trying to make themselves feel more important then they probably are. Yes Homeskillet, Airborne is Army. All branches have similar groups but they just call them by different names, Green Berets (Army)/Seals (Navy)...., etc, ect. Has anyone heard from Paul E lately? If I remember correctly he used to miss a lot of time in school for some medical thing. After graduation, I think you [GM] said he and his brother had gotten into some trouble with the police or something. What's the latest on him. If you don't want to post this, I understand.

No they were not for the most part on line. The Marine was based in 29 palms. The Army recruiter is based in Indio recruiting Office. One of the Tankers worked with me at a golf course and now lives in Northern Cal. The second Tanker was here in town on a long leave until he got shipped out to Korea last year. The Artie fellow and the 101 chap were the on line players. As I said I wasn't sure about the 101st. Didn't really matter to me anyway. Its not like I'm a military groupie. Its just that many Role players (as you stated) have military experience. They seem to go hand in hand
