I don't know about hand in hand, but it is a tool used in the miltary to act and react to a specific scenerio, encounter your objective, respond appropriately, reach your objective, review your performance, and repeat. Role playing, thinking outside of the box. Bet Roger would never have seen it that way.

I'm a 'tard. Yes, Paul E., where did I pull Paul T. from? So where these all folks online? Like I said, there are a lot of folks in the military that role play. I would be careful of anyone you don't know dropping the name a specific unit. Usually trying to make themselves feel more important then they probably are. No they were not for the most part on line. The Marine was based in 29 palms. The Army recruiter is based in Indio recruiting Office. One of the Tankers worked with me at a golf course and now lives in Northern Cal. The second Tanker was here in town on a long leave until he got shipped out to Korea last year. The Artie fellow and the 101 chap were the on line players. As I said I wasn't sure about the 101st. Didn't really matter to me anyway. Its not like I'm a military groupie. Its just that many Role players (as you stated) have military experience. They seem to go hand in hand The only reason I knew that the Airborne were Army was because Jimi Hendrix was part of the( I believe) 84th Airborne.

Yeah Jimi was in the army. He said that the effects that he would create from the feedback were imitations of the sounds he heard when he jumped. You wouldn't be proud of Jimi though. Supposedly he faked injuries to be discharged, because he wanted to play guitar and not die in Vietnam. There are also rumors that he faked homosexuality to get out of the service, but I think that's bullshit or bullnuts what ever the computer wants to call it . I believe he really got hurt, since I sustained muscle damage in my lower back and it still effects me. You can't serve with that. After that he worked the "Chitin Circuit" with the Isley Brothers, James Brown and Little Richard( the real king of rock 'n roll). Little Richard gave Jimi the boot, because Jimi was out staging him. You can not out stage the king. Later Chaz Chandler saw Jimi James and the Blue Flames( Jimi's band at the time) at the Cafe Wa and the rest is history.
