"Well, I love good company Stone. You are welcome back at any time without an appointment. I know many things so if you ever have questions in need of answers come see me. We'll talk over tea. Now if you'll excuse me I must be getting back to my work. Please don't forget the kettle." Gardrax stood and finished his fairwells. Aiko took the tea kettle. As soon as he was out of the room it transformed back to the plain black iron it was. Gardrax walked along with Aiko a ways to make sure he didn't get lost.

Stone bowed to Gardax," Thank you Master for the hospitality. I will return." Stone headed out, bowing at store's ogre guard as he exited. Stone was very weak from his injuries. Wondering where else to go to get more healing. Stone wondered if the tales were true about the Church of Light. As Stone wondered through town unsure where to go he found himself before the Church of Light.

The humble, two story, stone Church has mediocre scroll work and modest adornments on the exterior. While not a poor Church it is clearly not rich either. Inside are 3 rows of benches (piews?) for worshiping any of the three Deities. Stone statues of each are at the back of the building on a low stage. Four doors, two to a side can be seen leading of to other parts of the building. A grand stair case ascends from both left and right sides of the stage to a balcony area and a set of two doors.
Aiko's first realization upon entering the building is that it is obviously a Trinity Church and not a Church of Light as he originally thought. It made sense he guessed that a town of this small size should have one church catering to all worshipers instead of three or four separate Churches each dedicated to a specific Deity. There was but one person visible to Aiko at the moment. The red headed women smiled at him and walked down the main isle to greet him. "Welcome to the First Church of Garrotten stranger. May the blessings of Mistress Death be with you." her emerald green eyes flashed and sparkled in the sun light shining in through the tall, narrow windows. She wore the black shrouds of the Death Priests adorned with an even blacker cloak pined together by a clasp of bone carved into the likeliness of a miniature human skull. 'Keepers of the Dead' they were often called as they were the first to enter plague infested areas to treat the sick and dieing.

Greetings lady," Stone bowed," I have recently sustained injuries and they burden me too much. I am not from here and I don't worship any deity( Stone points toward the the statues of the three gods), but are the tales true? Can a man seek miracles of health here?" Stone smiles hoping to seem too selfish.

"Yes, but even miracles must be payed for." The lady smiled benevolently. "You look as if you have seen Androsia already. She does fine work but nature takes its time to heal, does it not? I could heal the majority of your wounds for a 50 Gold Crown donation to any of the three Deities. You'll walk out of here without a limp I can assure you."

" I am unsure of this," Stone admitted," Is it right to ask this when I have other beliefs?"

The woman cocks her head to the left. "A druid perhaps? There are few beliefs other then the Trinity in this world. My power comes from my faith in Mistress Death. Maybe if you see me heal you you may start to believe in her."

Stone hands her 50 Gold Crowns," I am an EarthMaster. The Earth is my mother and she gives me my power. I may not be able to believe in your death goddess, but maybe we could share in honor since most dead is returned to the mother." Stone follows the priestess to wherever she needs him to go to receive her miracle.

The Priestess sits Stone down and places one hand on his leg and the other over his wrist. She says a simple prayer and removes her hands. Aiko looks at his wounds and sees them knit together before his eyes. His hand is completely healed and his leg has only a faint, dull ache.
"I am sorry for the leg. The wound was deep. You may be stiff for a day, maybe two. Maybe if you ever have the time we could discuss the similarities between Mistress Death and this Earth Mother of yours." With this last comment she backs away from Stone allowing him to stand.

" Yes," Stone stands on more steady legs," I would like that. I am Stone. What is your name?"

" Very good," Stone bows," Thank you for helping my recovery. I am amazed by your miracle. I must tend to business, but I will return and we can talk some more. Farewell." Stone stands tall and smiles.

Aiko leaves the Church with a spring in his step. Making his way east he soon finds himself at Foxes...correction...his cabin. It is a quaint little log cabin, approximately 40' square. It has but a single window that is shuttered closed directly to the left of the front door. There is a small porch area as well and an awning that provides shade. This is good because the front of the cabin faces the Old Kingdom River to the North meaning the window and door get the sun most of the day. As Aiko approached he could see a two wheeled cart drawn by a single old mare. The back of the cart was loaded with animal hides and furs. Tull was just climbing into the drivers seat. Mason was out as well sitting in a rocking chair of all things sewing a bear hide. Aiko assumed Sull and Briggs must be indoors.

Mason looks up from his work on his coat and nods in way of greeting. Tull once settled in the seat waves at Stone. "Hello Stone! I was just on my way to deliver these furs to my Uncle for an appraisal. If you are broke you soon won't be." The halfling laughed heartily.
Just then Sull and Briggs come out the front door to greet the hero as well. Briggs is carrying another load of furs for the cart while Sull appears covered in webs and dirt.
