Blimm is standing outside the cabin next to a pack mule loaded with five medium sized boxes. The boxes are strapped on tightly and covered in some-kind of mosaic patterns. Blimm greats those who came back with a smile. Aiko notices that the gully dwarf has returned as has Brigs and the woman. However the other gentleman had not come back.
"Thank you for helping me folks. I must say you are all good people and I am indebted to you all for helping me deliver these parcels to Tabor Samila. You will find Tabor to be an elf with long blond hair and sparkling blue eyes. Arian is a small farming town so most people should be able to help you locate him. He informed me that he will be looking for you at the town council building four days hence. If you should arrive later than that he will leave a note at the Council building concerning his whereabouts. Please remember to try and stick to the roads or follow the river as there are bandits working the cultivated lands between here and Arian. Firebrand and his gang have been spotted in the forest not fifty miles away in that direction. PLEASE be careful."
Brimm walks up to each of you passing out small pouches.
"Here is the fifty gold each, up front that I promised you all. The rest will be given to you upon your return here. 250 Gold each if you have a signed paper from Tabor. 50 Gold if without. I can spot a forgery a mile away, so please keep each other honest. Speaking of honesty. I feel I should tell you the full truth of the situation. Please take a close look at the parcels but do not touch them."
Earl gasps in shock as you all approach them.
"Those circles and symbols you see inscribed took me the better part of two hours to activate. I am a Diabolist and THOSE are protective wards! Please forgive me but this was deemed a precautionary measure to make sure you all remain...honest. During our earlier discussions I was able to determine two of your parties 'true' names. As you can see those names; Brigs Read and Aiko on the parcels. If any of the circles are broken or if any of the parcels are opened I am afraid that Aiko and Brigs will die a very painful death."
Just about everyone begins shouting, getting angry and/or upset in general. Especially Brigs.
"Please calm yourselves. You have all agreed already to embark on this mission when you returned so stop bickering. Everything will be fine if you all work together and do the job! Now, the REASON I chose Aiko and Briggs is because they are the most powerful among you. As such and because their lives are in more danger then the rest of you, The two of them will notice an extra gift inside the pouches I handed them. Now I wish you all a safe journey and I hope to see all of you back here soon."
Blimm looks at the sun.
"Now be off with you all. You are only about a day ahead of him."
The diabolist appears to disappear before your eyes and is gone.
