Yes, I understand, Einhard let's out a deep sigh, I don't have time to read them. Thank you anyway, Dunluk. Einhard faces Friedrick and leads him out. What do you think Friedrick? Should we hire a tracker? Do you think there will be anyone available as of now?

"Well Sire, we don't exactly look like helpless peasants, so I doubt they would try and rob us on the road. Seams inefficient anyway. We could try the hiring hall I suppose or ask the constable for recommendations. I fear our only other option would be to roam about in the wild."

Friedrick thought for a bit. "Then again, there is that fellow we helped apprehend at the Inn. Is there an angle there we could use?"

Einhard thinks about it. No Friedrick, we don't have enough time. Plus, I doubt he will be useful at all. As for the Constable, I don't want to disturb him. Go, Friedrick and hire a Ranger. Offer him 50 Gold Crowns and 15% of the reward. Return to the Inn for breakfast. I wish to be off before noon. Einhard smiles and salutes Dunluk, Again, thank you Dunluk. You are very helpful. With this Einhard returns to the inn to oversee how the breakfast is coming and to wake the others.

When Einhard opened the door to the Inn he was rushed by Gray and Tidbit. They were dressed in full travel gear. "See! I told you he wouldn't leave us behind!" the gnome almost sqeeled in delight. as he slapped Gray's leg. "He just stepped out for a bit. Right mi'Lord?" Gray just folded his arms and waited expectently. "Ahh, where is Friedrick?" Tidbit added.

"No, no, no. They have not eaten. At least not from my stores. Come. See what I had prepared for them."
The meal was layed out on a table on the far side of the room. There were eggs, potatoes, sweet bread, a cheese wedge and fresh fruit. Their was even a steaming kettle of water for tea.
Tidbit just stared at it all. "Well that sure beats the travel bread and jerky we gulped down don't it Grey?"
Grey garumphed an affirmative.

Einhard smiles. He sits down to a nice cup of tea and an apple and watches the door for Friedrick.

Breakfast was going well and an extra serving had to be ordered if Friedrick was to eat when he arrived. Arrive he did with a human woodsman whom his squire introduced as Mason. "Mason comes highly recommended mi'lord and he says he already has a good idea where FireBrand is hiding out."
The ranger explained, "An old friend of mine was interested in going after FireBrand, but never got the chance. I've been keeping tabs on the giant ever since. I can take you to his hold if he hasn't moved on yet. He doesn't stay in one place very long."

Einhard rises as soon as he sees Friedrick and this new comer Mason. He listens patiently. Yes, good. We should leave post haste, but before we go please eat. Einhard turns to their host. PLEASE MORE, FOR MY FRIENDS! he waves his hands at Friedrick and Mason as he grabs for his purse.

The group ate quickly and left the Inn. The group headed East to some woods. Mason talked on the way. "If he hasn't left for another area FireBrand is currently hold up in an old abandoned fort. His band of Rogues is about forty strong now so we'll have to enter undetected and take them out piece meal. If we're really lucky many of them will be away on raids of some kind." Mason glances at the Paladin. "If you plan on calling him out you'll end up fighting the whole lot at once. In that case I'll hang back if you don't mind." The ranger smiled as he said this last bit.
